Child Care and Education
  • Head Start. Provides free comprehensive child development services for economically disadvantaged children and families.

Employment


Food

  • SNAP–Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly Food Stamps). Provides monthly funds to use to purchase food items for eligible individual and families.
  • WIC–Women Infants and Children. Supplemental food program based on income and medical/nutrition risk. Pregnant women, women breastfeeding up to one year, post partum women up to six months after delivery and infants and children younger than five.
  • Free and Reduced School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Provides free and reduced breakfast and lunches to eligible children at participating schools and child care centers.


General

  • 2-1-1. Provides information about health and human services such as housing, employment, food utility assistance, legal aid and counseling.
  • Family Help Line. Provides information about health and human services such as housing, employment, food utility assistance, legal aid and counseling.
  • TANF–Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. Provides cash assistance and supportive services for eligible families.
