COVID-19 vaccine education focus of April 7 virtual event

MDwise, Eskenazi Health and the Marion County Public Health Department are offering a free virtual event to address the myths, concerns and truth about the COVID-19 vaccine on April 7 at 7 p.m. ET.
‘Take the Fight to COVID’ will include a panel discussion and Q&A with attendees.
Moderated by Emmy Award-winning Journalist and Public Affairs Director of Radio One Indianapolis Tina Cosby, the panel will include the following experts.
  • Virginia A. Caine, M.D., Director and Chief Medical Officer, Marion County Public Health Department
  • Torriaun Everett, Vice President, Health Plan Operations, MDwise
  • Randall Taylor, PharmD, Director of Pharmacy, McLaren Health, parent of MDwise
  • David Crabb, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, Eskenazi Health
“We believe it’s important to acknowledge barriers to vaccination acceptance while at the same time maintaining respect for difference,” added Jessica Cromer, president and CEO of MDwise.
American Sign Language interpreters will be present on screen during the event.
