MDwise joined a crowd of thousands at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 19, for the 10th annual "El Dia De La Familia," the single largest event in central Indiana hosted for the Hispanic population. MDwise was accompanied by Ms. Bluebelle, the popular owl mascot for MDwise’s Bluebelle Beginnings program, which is an initiative focused on prenatal and new-baby health.

“Ms. Bluebelle was a huge hit at the event, offering stick-on tattoos for the kids,” said Fernando Luna with MDwise, who attended the event. "Families also took pictures at our MDwise photo booth and were able to collect free health information and resources."

The festival featured live music from national recording artists, as well as regional and local talent. Attendees also enjoyed ethnic food, crafts, free information from a variety of exhibitors, and other fun activities. The event was hosted by WEDJ-FM, 107.1 Radio Latina, and WSYW-AM, 810 La Joya.
