Free immunizations and sports physicals for Indianapolis youth July 22–26

MDwise and Raphael Health Center offer FREE event in time for back to school and fall sports
Indianapolis parents are invited to bring their children to a free "Fit for School" health fair where they can receive health screenings, immunizations, sports physicals and free school uniform vouchers (while supplies last), as well as an opportunity to enroll in Medicaid health plans. MDwise, the state's only not-for-profit managed care company, and the Raphael Health Center are offering this four day event to ensure youth in central Indiana the necessary health services before returning to school and beginning fall sports. The "Fit for School" event will include:
  • Immunizations for children up to age 19
  • Lead, glucose, obesity, blood pressure, cholesterol and dental screenings
  • Echocardiograms, sports physicals and smoking cessation information
  • Enrollment for Hoosier Healthwise and Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP)
MDwise and the Raphael Health Center will also provide information and resources on a variety health-related of topics.
