Digital Health Award given to Indianapolis health insurance company MDwise

INDIANAPOLIS – MDwise has been selected a leader in healthcare resources by the Digital Health Awards (formerly Web Health Awards). Twice per year, the awards program recognizes the best in digital health resources nationwide, and MDwise, and design partner Bitwise, earned a Gold distinction – the highest level – in the Content Management System category for a consumer audience. MDwise earned the distinction during the Spring 2015 round of entries.

“MDwise works hard to ensure our digital content management system is the most efficient and effective system in the health care industry,” said Hollie Arruda, director of marketing at MDwise. “This award confirms we have a top-quality process that eases the flow of online communication to our customers so they have the most up-to-date health care information from MDwise.”

MDwise’s content management system is a Web-based application which allows for health content publishing and management for the insurer’s website, It was judged by a panel of health technology professionals based on user experience, system design and organization and overall functionality.

The Digital Health Awards program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center, a clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields.
