New MDwise logo reflects transformative year for the health care company

INDIANAPOLIS - MDwise recently unveiled its enhanced logo design – the next step in the company’s transformative year. Elements of the logo exemplify the company’s core values - compassion (heart), leadership (torch) and excellence (stars).

The Indiana-based, nonprofit health plan focused on serving uninsured and underserved Hoosiers, has experienced significant changes this year. They recently announced the appointment of a new CEO, the Hoosier Alliance health plan merged into the newly-created MDwise Excel Network and its membership base has increased due to the expansion of the Healthy Indiana Plan. In addition, MDwise Marketplace has expanded its coverage area for the Health Insurance Marketplace. 
“MDwise’s previous brand and logo became a trusted element of who we are, so we were mindful not to completely change what we’ve established,” said Katherine Wentworth, chief operating officer of MDwise. “The logo feels refreshed and rejuvenated, and those characteristics are reflective of the positive changes we’ve seen as a company over the past year. Consistent with our strong history and mission of service to the community, we’re eager to have this mark lead us into the future.”
