INDIANAPOLIS – MDwise recently received acknowledgement by the Digital Health Awards for its Colorectal Awareness Month banner, earning a Silver distinction in the banner ad category for a consumer audience.
The ad ran on the MDwise homepage during the month of March and directed people to a custom
landing page highlighting the importance of colorectal cancer screenings. It also provided prevention tips and a list of questions to consider when visiting your doctor.
“We believe that education plays a critical role in healthcare. In this case, we wanted to educate our members on the risks of colorectal cancer – the fourth most common cancer in the U.S. – and the screening services available to them,” said Hollie Arruda, director of marketing at MDwise. “Earning an award for this ad validates that we are successfully creating attention-grabbing digital work with meaningful content geared at improving our members’ overall physical health through education.”
The Digital Health Awards program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center, a clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields. Twice per year, the awards program recognizes the best in digital health resources nationwide.
