MDwise nationally recognized for outstanding service, member satisfaction

INDIANAPOLIS – The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has recognized MDwise for its quality health care, service and member satisfaction. MDwise earned a 3.5 out of 5 among health insurance plans in the group’s annual Medicaid Health Insurance Plan Ratings report 2017-2018.
As an Indiana nonprofit health maintenance organization focused on helping uninsured Indiana families and individuals, MDwise prides itself on offering quality health care coverage and unrivaled customer service for its members.
“Our rating validates our commitment to health care quality and member satisfaction,” said Jim Parker, president and CEO of MDwise. “We take pride in providing our members with quality service and care, and we work continuously to improve our members’ well-being.”
NCQA's Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2017-2018 lists private, Medicare and Medicaid health insurance plans based on three types of quality measures: measures of clinical quality; measures of consumer satisfaction; and results from NCQA’s review of a health plan’s health quality processes. NCQA rates health plans that report quality information publicly.
