MDwise Marketplace

MDwise Marketplace is part of the Health Insurance Marketplace created under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). It is a new way to buy affordable health insurance. Anyone can apply, regardless of health status or pre-existing condition. In Indiana, it is administered by the federal government. Open enrollment for 2015 coverage is now closed. However, you can still enroll in a MDwise Marketplace plan for 2015 coverage if you have a qualifying life event. Open enrollment for 2016 coverage begins in the fall of 2015.
