Find a Hoosier Healthwise Doctor
When enrolled in Hoosier Healthwise through MDwise, you will have an assigned doctor or primary medical provider (PMP). Your PMP manages all of your medical care. You must see your PMP before he/she can refer you to a specialist. Your PMP can refer you to a specialist if there is a medical reason to do so. Your PMP will be able to tell you which specialist you can see.

PMPs can be one of these types of doctors: Family Practice, General Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN (women only) or Pediatric (children only). Behavioral health providers treat mental health problems and substance abuse problems.

These links can provide information about the quality of hospitals across the state. Quality information about individual providers is limited, but can often be found on hospital websites that are listed.
If you have questions about the quality of MDwise providers please ask us. You can call MDwise customer service and we can research specific doctors for you. The information we give you might include credentialing status and board certifications, licensure and accreditation information and complaint history.
