It is important to get check-ups from your doctor every year. This is true even if you feel healthy. At regular check-ups your doctor will:
- Make sure you have up-to-date immunizations (shots). Shots can help keep you from getting sick.
A special message during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Look for early warning signs before a disease or illness gets worse.
- Check vital statistics so your doctor can compare them if you get sick.
- Talk to you about staying healthy. This includes tips about quitting smoking, healthy eating, sleeping and being more active.

Remember, you will
not have to pay a copay for your check-up.
All preventive care you get is covered by MDwise.
