FSSA/OMPP wants to make Medicaid better for members and they need your help. Apply to join Indiana Medicaid’s NEW Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC) to share your experience. The BAC, composed of current and former Medicaid members and caretakers, will discuss policy and program changes. To apply, complete the BAC application and submit it via email or mail. Y You Matter

When you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated or like you can’t see a way forward, MDwise wants you to know that you are not alone. The Y You Matter program at MDwise is for males ages 10-24.

The program provides safe and supportive resources for you to connect with others. We offer:

  • Big Brothers – serves youth through mentoring relationships.
  • Bloom Project – offers group mentoring, college preparation, service learning, character development and career exploration opportunities. In Indianapolis and Ft. Wayne, Indiana for young males, ages 12 – 18.
  • Struggle University – focuses on supporting both youth and adults, serving late elementary/early middle through adulthood. Creates spaces to identify past and current trauma, explore individual and collective ways of healing and build collective efficacy through building rapport and connection.
  • MDwise Case Management – helps you to navigate your health care needs.
  • MyStrength – is free to members (and covered dependents) ages 13 years and older with coverage through the MDwise plan. MyStrength is a flexible and comprehensive digital program with proven tools and dedicated support for stress, depression, sleep and more — all tailored to your unique needs.
  • 988 Hotline – offers 24/7 access to trained crisis counselors who can help people experiencing mental health-related distress.
