FSSA/OMPP wants to make Medicaid better for members and they need your help. Apply to join Indiana Medicaid’s NEW Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC) to share your experience. The BAC, composed of current and former Medicaid members and caretakers, will discuss policy and program changes. To apply, complete the BAC application and submit it via email or mail. The focus of behavioral health is on our thoughts and emotions that impact our daily lives. Behavioral health refers to mental health disorders, substance use or misuse, life stress and crisis situations. Seeking care can be helpful for a wide range of problems such as life, family and personal issues, job stress, relationship issues and more.

In addition to the resources on our HELPlink website, there are other options for you that offer assistance and support. Here are some choices.

  • Local Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs)

MDwise allows members to self-refer to any behavioral health care provider or an Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) enrolled psychiatrist in the MDwise network. You can do this without a referral from your primary medical provider.

If you need help, please call the MDwise Care Management Team at 1-800-356-1204 and request Case Management.
